Terms of service

Effective October 30, 2026

These terms are an agreement between Shor Consulting, Inc. ("Shor Consulting", "we", "us") and the customer ("you") that subscribes to i18nProof. By creating an account or paying for a plan you accept them.

1. The service

i18nProof reviews the text your software shows and sends in different languages: it scans locale files, captures text from a running app through its SDK, has AI models and people review that text, and reports findings and suggested fixes. During early access each customer runs on a private instance that we set up after payment, normally within one business day.

i18nProof's findings are advice. You decide what to change in your product, and you remain responsible for what your product says to your users.

2. Your account

You must give accurate account and billing details and keep your sign-in credentials private. You are responsible for what the people you invite, including reviewers, do in your account. Tell us at once if you think an account has been used without permission.

3. Acceptable use

You may use i18nProof only for software you own or are authorized to work on. You may not use it to break the law, to infringe anyone's rights, to probe or disrupt the service, to resell it, or to send text that you do not have the right to process. You may not use the service to build a competing product by copying its reviews.

4. Your content

You keep all rights to the text, files, glossaries and other content you give i18nProof. You grant us the right to store, process and show that content as needed to provide the service to you, including sending it to the AI providers and expert reviewers described in our privacy policy. We do not use your content to train models. You confirm that you have the right to give us the content you provide and that it does not contain more personal data than the service needs.

5. Fees and payment

Plans are billed in advance, monthly or yearly, through Stripe, at the prices on the pricing page when you subscribe. Usage above your plan's allowance is charged at your plan's overage rate up to the spend cap you set. Expert review is charged per source word as published. Prices exclude taxes, which are added where the law requires. If a payment fails we may suspend the account after notice until it is settled.

You may cancel at any time from your account or by emailing us; your plan then runs to the end of the period already paid for and does not renew. Fees already paid are not refunded, except where the law requires it. We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice; the change applies from your next renewal.

6. Early access

i18nProof is in early access. Features may change, be added or be removed, and the service may be interrupted for maintenance or improvements. We will give notice of changes that reduce what your plan includes, and you may cancel in response.

7. Our commitments and their limits

We will provide the service with reasonable skill and care and keep your content secure as described in our privacy policy. Beyond that, the service is provided as it is, without other warranties, express or implied, including about fitness for a particular purpose or that every translation defect will be found.

To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim arising out of this agreement is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, and neither party is liable for indirect or consequential losses such as lost profits or lost data. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

8. Ending the agreement

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or end your account if you break these terms, if payment is overdue after notice, or if we stop offering the service, in which case we refund any prepaid fees for the unused period. After an account closes you may export your findings and ledger for 30 days, after which we delete your content as described in the privacy policy.

9. General

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, and disputes are heard in the state or federal courts in Tarrant County, Texas. If a part of these terms is unenforceable the rest still applies. We may update these terms; we will post the new version here with a new effective date and tell customers by email about significant changes. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept it.
